Bruce Lee The Legend
Bruce Lee was born on November 27, 1940, in San Francisco, California, to Chinese parents Lee Hoi-chuen and Grace Ho. Growing up in Hong Kong, Lee began training in Wing Chun martial arts at 13 and later attended Tak Sun Primary School. He acted in films as a child, notably in "Golden Gate Girl" (1941). Lee moved to the United States in 1959, settling in Seattle, where he opened his first martial arts school. He later studied philosophy at the University of Washington. In 1964, Lee married Linda Lee Cadwell and had two children, Brandon and Shannon. Lee's martial arts and acting careers took off in the 1970s, starring in iconic films like "The Big Boss" (1971), "Fist of Fury" (1972), "Way of the Dragon" (1972), and "Enter the Dragon" (1973). Tragically, Lee died on July 20, 1973, due to a cerebral edema caused by an allergic reaction to pain medication. Despite his short life, Lee's legacy as a martial artist, philosopher, and cultural icon continues to inspire generations worldwide.
